Condolences

One of my lasting memories of Jaylynn is when she was in Pre-K (4 years old) at Woodridge Elementary School. It was around Christmas time and Jaylynn & Joanie's class was dressed in their pajamas at school. Jaylynn & Joanie were patiently waiting on the cafeteria wall for the rest of their classmates to get their lunches so they could go back to the class for their Holiday fun. I remember Jaylynn's bright eyes & big smile in anticipation of the fun they were about to have. Such a sweet little girl! Thank you Jaylynn, for being Joanie's best friend through the years! You will always in our hearts. Dearest Felicia & family, you are in my prayers daily. May God continue to comfort & strengthen you during this extremely difficult time. I love you all. 🙏❤

I have TOO many memories with this girl... She was my longest friend. I've loved her ever since we were in Pre-K sharing cheetos in my mom's trailer. One of my favorite memories of her is every time I would see her... I could always count on the fact that she would run and jump in my arms with her legs wrapped around me as a greeting. This was fun until we became adults... then it started to hurt haha! I was blessed enough to see her in August where we shared our last "jump hug". I have enough memories to fill this whole obituary, but since I'm typing with tears in my eyes making the screen look fuzzy, I'll keep it with this one memory. I love Jaylynn SO much... I look forward to the day when we'll meet again in heaven making songs, rapping, and just being goofy together. ❤️ To the family, who've I've adopted as my own family, I love you so much... and my heart goes out to you. I pray the Lord sends you the strength and peace to get through this difficult time.

Felicia, you brought Jaylynn as a high schooler, with her two brothers to visit your Dad, Our Pastor, Rev. Stanley Palmer, on a couple of occasions. We really got to know your beautiful daughter this past year when she lived with your Dad. The Bible tells us to "train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old, they will not depart from it." Your training of Jaylynn was evident of her love for Christ in her daily living. It was also evident that she desired to please Him. She was very unselfish and assisted me in many music and hospitality projects at O'Neal Memorial Baptist Church and was a regular member of ou Bible Study on Wednesday nights. As one member said: "God sent us an angel!" I looked forward to her beautiful smile and that powerful hug she gave me! I pray that we emulate her enthusiasm and zeal for living. May God richly bless you and your family with the courage and faith to be who God has called you to be. With deepest sympathy. Deaconess Nanette Autry, O'Neal Memorial Baptist Church, Rev. Stanley Palmer, Pastor

I knew Jaylynn for a short time, but I found her to a quiet introspective person. She loved movies, in fact. before Covid she and I had tickets to see the play Hamilton. She was a beautiful person and had a lovely spirit and an even brighter smile. I used to tell her that she was always braver than she believed, stronger than she seem and smarter than she thought. I will remember her as a gift that was given to me for a short time that I will never forget. Jennett W. Baker, from Fernandina, FL

May heart and prayers are with you. Babygirl was truly a blessing to my life and was like a niece to me. She let in touch with me over the years and even called to sing Happy Birthday to me. And what a sweet voice. I will forever cherish the time that I got to know and love her. May His peace, love, and mercy be with you during this time. I love you!
